LÖMSK Reveal New Album and Share Lyric Video for Lead Single
Swedish black metal force LÖMSK return with their second full-length creation, Act II – Of Iron and Blood, confirmed for release on March the 6th through Vendetta Records. To mark the announcement, the band have unveiled the album’s opening track, Fields of Elysium, presented alongside a striking lyric video now available to watch online.
Formed in Gothenburg in 2022, LÖMSK channel a vision shaped by disillusionment with the modern world. Their work is rooted in a refusal to accept complacency, and each release serves as a confrontation with the decay they see around them. With this new chapter, the group shifts its focus away from the conceptual foundations of their debut and steps into the ruins that follow.
Their first album, Act I, introduced LÖMSK as a project forged in creative upheaval. It explored the tension between ancient fury and newly awakened resolve, presenting the band as a catalyst for artistic renewal. That record set the stage for a deeper descent, one that now unfolds fully in Act II – Of Iron and Blood.
The new album examines a world collapsing under its own weight. Through themes of nihilism, resilience, and the inevitability of decline, LÖMSK guide the listener through a landscape filled with smoke, ash, and fractured skies. The record captures the sensation of watching empires fall and horizons darken, offering a soundtrack to the slow march toward dissolution. It is a vision of civilisation in flames, carried by a voice that refuses to look away.

All music on Act II – Of Iron and Blood was written, produced, recorded, and mixed by LÖMSK. Mastering was completed by Robert Kukla at Obsidian Recording Studios. Visual artwork was created by Misanthropic Art, with booklet design and layout by Jacob Fredén.
